Peer Supervision

For Employees

Pure Insights is passionate about the importance of Peer Supervision for frontline workers supporting clients with complex barriers in the employment services, justice and housing sectors. These groups support advisors with the following:

Clinical supervision support from a qualified and registered counselling supervisor.
Support with exploring strategies for working effectively with clients with complex barriers. The groups can support advisors with upskilling and professional development.
Sharing best practices with fellow advisors and learning from each other’s experiences.
A safe supportive place to debrief and process difficult interactions with clients and reflect on the advisors’ own triggers and areas of professional and personal development.

Pure Insights provides qualified and registered counselling supervisors to support the process of peer supervision in groups of four advisors on a rotation of 6 weeks. These groups can be run remotely or face to face depending on the needs of the contract.

The organisational benefit and return on investment of running these groups includes:

Advisors are provided with opportunities to build their skills in supporting clients with complex barriers.
Reduces the risk of advisors feeling burnt out or overwhelmed by working with complex clients as they have a safe and supportive space to debrief and gain support.
Increase advisors’ skills in being able to engage with clients and increase the likelihood they can support them to achieve outcomes identified in the relevant contract.
