For Employment Service and Justice Wellbeing Clients
If you have been referred to counselling with Pure Insights via your employment or wellbeing advisors, you may have some questions about who we are and what to expect from our programmes.
Below we wanted to share what your journey with Pure Insights may be like and to provide some reassurance around the process.
Our counselling can support clients with issues and concerns such as:
Before starting and during your counselling programme you’re always welcome to contact the management team via info@pureinsights.co.uk or 0800 2289 327 if you have questions or concerns about your journey with us.
Your advisor will discuss the counselling programme with you and then with your agreement make a referral to Pure Insights.
Once you have been referred one of our counsellors will contact you within 48 hours to book your assessment appointment.
Your counsellor will be very warm, friendly, and non-judgemental and will treat you with the upmost respect and empathy. All our counsellors are qualified therapists and are registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist (BACP).
Your assessment will usually be booked within 2 weeks of your referral and will take 30 minutes. During this time your counsellor will gain your consent to start on our programme, gather some additional information, and explain what you can expect from the counselling programme. This allows you to then make a fully informed decision about whether you would like to take part.
If you consent to continue your counsellor will book your first counselling session for the following week. Depending on your programme this will either be face to face at your providers office or remote via the telephone or Teams video call.
You will then be offered 6 weekly counselling sessions with your counsellor that will be booked for the same time and day each week. These sessions will be your own confidential safe space to use in the way that feels most important for you.
Your counsellor will explore your support network and support you with any referrals that are needed for longer term mental health and wellbeing support services.
Once you complete your counselling sessions your counsellor will provide a warm handover back to your referring advisor and ask for anonymous feedback about your experience of your counselling.
